Science department
Persei vivarium is currently developing a differential and strategic science and research department. We aim to have scientific rigor as a solid foundation for technological advanced algorithms, in all our Digital Health applications. To achieve this goal, these are our premises:
- EXTRACT the useful features from clinical and dense databases.
- SELECT with reliability the useful feature in heterogeneous databases and turn them into useful information for the clinicians and the patients.
- ADAPT the intelligent existing algorithms to the Digital Health problem, improving the current machine learning.
- FACILITATE the contribution that Big Data can actually make to Digital Health and to clinical knowledge.
Our Science Team
We have raised a Science & Research Team working on strongly multidisciplinar basis which naturally emerge from projects involving health and Information and Communication Technologies. Our Inhome Vivarium Research Team is also connected with researchers in the Academia, closely working in the projects with clinical and research staff in health institutions.
The Science Team in Persei vivarium is growing. We are looking for young and experience researchers with interest in putting together ICT, health, specialized medicine, wearables, medical databases, and emergent technologies. Experience in medical environments is valuable, as it also are knowledge and skills with data processing, biomedical signals and images analysis, machine learning and data bases, and interest in big data systems.
