Persei Consulting, the company that provided the technology for Persei vivarium, has reached Level 2 of the maturity model for the software life cycle process with regard to the requirements specified in the ISO/IEC 15504 regulations, according to AENOR’s “Model for evaluation and improvement of the software process.”
Our team was delighted with and motivated by the dynamism of Scrumban, the agile methodology that we implemented several years ago and have been improving every year through the process of continuous improvement, and with the tools that are currently used for the management of their products.
The certification process is carried out through a series of meetings between the company and the AENOR auditing team, in which the areas corresponding to the development departments of the company are reviewed. Our project manager, Amparo Díez, was the person in charge of this process for our company.
This year a procedure will be undertaken to transfer the certification to Persei vivarium, the company that currently is implementing the technology.
AENOR is the Spanish certification entity for management systems, products, and services, and is responsible for the development and dissemination of Spanish standards.
