Persei vivarium promotes UR-CARE and E-QUALITY at ECCO’26, the leading international IBD congress

ECCO’26, this year’s edition of the leading international congress on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), took place from February 18 to 21 in Stockholm. Once again, Persei vivarium participated through the projects UR-CARE and E-QUALITY.

This year marked the 21st edition of the event, which annually brings together the global scientific and medical IBD community, serving as a key meeting point to share the latest scientific advances and most innovative clinical practices in this field. On this occasion, the central theme of the congress focused on Holistic IBD care: from patient-centered approaches and quality of life, to multidisciplinary monitoring and follow-up strategies. Under this premise, the event gathered more than 8,000 attendees from 96 countries, reflecting its steady growth year after year.

As in previous editions, UR-CARE and E-QUALITY were among the highlights of the congress. A dedicated space was once again available, where the Persei vivarium team promoted both initiatives, addressed attendees’ questions, provided training, and facilitated the onboarding process for those interested in joining the projects and accessing our platforms.

UR-CARE, the United Registries for Clinical Assessment and Research, is an international online registry aimed at improving daily clinical practice in Inflammatory Bowel Disease and fostering research, promoting collaboration among centers and across countries. Its ultimate goal is to enhance the quality of care for this condition. UR-CARE is available to study groups as well as individual centers, and currently includes nearly 100 participating centers.

E-QUALITY, ECCO Quality of Care Project, is an initiative focused on improving the quality of care for patients living with IBD, promoting internationally recognized guidelines centered on clinical practice, education, research, and collaboration in this therapeutic area.

Once again, it was a pleasure for Persei vivarium to take part in the 21st ECCO Congress and to share the latest developments in Inflammatory Bowel Disease with leading professionals from around the world. At our company, we remain committed to advancing the management and care of people living with IBD through projects such as UR-CARE and E-QUALITY.
