Persei vivarium <\/span>participates<\/span>, once again, in the internationally renowned IBD congress, ECCO\u201925, promoting the UR-CARE and E-QUALITY projects<\/span><\/h1>\n

The days from February 19 to 22 marked an important date for the <\/span>global scientific and medical community focused on<\/span><\/b> Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)<\/span><\/b>, as the<\/span> 20th Edition of the European Crohn\u2019s and Colitis Organisation Congress (ECCO\u201925)<\/span><\/a> took place, in which <\/span>Persei vivarium<\/span><\/a> participated once again.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span><\/span>ECCO Congress is the leading international event for professionals in the field of IBD<\/strong>,<\/span><\/span> bringing together over <\/span><\/span>8,000 attendees and representatives from 96 countries<\/strong> this year.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0All of this is aimed at fostering knowledge and collaboration by sharing updates, research, and initiatives designed to improve the care of patients with this disease.<\/span><\/b> This edition was also held under the theme: <\/span>\u201cSustainability in IBD and Beyond<\/span><\/i><\/b>, <\/span>working towards sustainable delivery of care: prevention, optimal treatment and efficient use of resources\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/b>, taking a step further in the quest for long-term sustainable IBD care.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Again this year, our company was able to participate in the congress through the <\/span>UR-CARE project, taking part in meetings focused on the registry, encouraging the inclusion of new participants, offering training, and addressing questions from interested parties. <\/span><\/b>The same has been done with the<\/span> E-QUALITY project,<\/span><\/b> and for this reason the <\/span>\u201cUR-CARE and E-QUALITY booth\u201d <\/span><\/b>was reactivated, where the team was based.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

UR-CARE<\/a>\u00a0is the<\/span> international online registry of IBD patients designed to improve daily clinical practice and generate research, available to study groups and individual centers.<\/span><\/b> Since its launch, it has been <\/span>optimizing IBD management by basing decisions on data and evidence, and fostering the initiation of new clinical studies.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the <\/span>E-QUALITY project<\/a> is an initiative promoted by ECCO whose <\/span>ultimate goal is to improve the care of patients with IBD by developing international practice guidelines focused on clinical practice, education, research, and collaboration<\/span><\/b> in this field.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For Persei vivarium, it has been a pleasure to once again be part of this landmark event in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, <\/span>where we have been able to share information and insights with experts <\/span><\/b>in the field<\/span> and promote the UR-CARE and E-QUALITY projects, with the aim of continuing to improve the care of patients living with this disease<\/span><\/b> on a global scale.<\/span><\/span><\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/ECCO25-UR-CARE-and-E-QUALITY-booth-1-scaled.jpg” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” title_text=”ECCO’25 – UR-CARE and E-QUALITY booth” width=”65%” module_alignment=”center” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”20px|0px|0px|0px” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”]
