This Tuesday, April 11th, the Secretary General of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA)<\/strong>, Ana Garc\u00eda<\/a>, visited Persei vivarium<\/a>\u00b4s office and got together with part of the management team, Roberto Bravo<\/a>, CEO of the Company, Elli Ghozzati<\/a>, Vicepresident of Neuroscience, and Rosa Siles<\/a>, Director of Institutional Relations.<\/p>\n

The aim of this meeting was to make a first contact between the company and the association, to get to know each other, and to explore possible future ways to collaborate around Big Data.<\/p>\n

The Big Data Value Association<\/a> (BDVA) is a fully self-financed not\u2013for-profit organization under Belgian law. It’s the private counterpart to the EU Commission to implement the BDV Public-Private Partnership (PPP) program.<\/p>\n

The objectives of the Association are to boost European Big Data Value research, development and innovation and to foster a positive perception of Big Data Value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

BDVA<\/strong> has a division called “Application” whose\u00a0main objective is to identify applications in which big data technologies can create the biggest impact<\/strong> in Europe. This area will facilitate value creation in Europe by supporting selected industrial sectors and other areas of interest with big data technologies, like healthcare<\/strong>, telecom, content\/media, energy, manufacturing\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
