{"id":408,"date":"2016-03-25T17:00:45","date_gmt":"2016-03-25T17:00:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/?p=408"},"modified":"2024-02-09T09:14:21","modified_gmt":"2024-02-09T09:14:21","slug":"our-chief-scientific-officer-appointed-professor-at-university-rey-juan-carlos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/our-chief-scientific-officer-appointed-professor-at-university-rey-juan-carlos\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Chief Scientific Officer appointed Professor at University Rey Juan Carlos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Jos\u00e9 Luis Rojo-\u00c1lvarez<\/strong>, Chief Scientific Officer for <a href=\"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/\">Persei vivarium<\/a>, was appointed as a Professor at University Rey Juan Carlos on March 25, 2016 after a defense on the subjects of <strong>Signals and Systems, and Introduction to Biomedical Engineering.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The examining board was made up of five professors in the area of signals and communications theory, with international experience and prestige in information and telecommunications technologies and in biomedical engineering.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/why-vivarium.php#joseluisrojoalvarez\">Jos\u00e9 Luis Rojo-\u00c1lvarez<\/a> has a Doctorate in Telecommunications Engineering, with a special interest in <strong>signals processing and cardiac imaging<\/strong> (mechanisms of arrhythmias, prolonged monitoring, electronic medical records), as well as in the creation of <strong>algorithms for signals processing and mass data<\/strong>, along with their extension to applications in marketing, traffic prediction, and sensor networks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.urjc.es\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-409\" src=\"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/URJC-300x152.jpg\" width=\"177\" height=\"90\" srcset=\"https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/URJC-300x152.jpg 300w, https:\/\/perseivivarium.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/URJC.jpg 630w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 177px) 100vw, 177px\" \/>The University Rey Juan Carlos<\/a><strong> (URJC)<\/strong> is a Spanish public university with its main campus in Madrid, and branches in Aranjuez, Alcorc\u00f3n, Fuenlabrada, Madrid, and M\u00f3stoles.
